In Buenos Aires, every bus line has it’s unique design and lettering. Inspired by the signage of the bus 59, which crosses the Pan-American Highway, I designed a typeface.
I used a brush pen to sketch out the letters quickly. My experience is that using a brush pen is best, since you don’t get stuck in the details too much.

To draw out the final designs I used Glyphs a handy application for creating typefaces.
